About the Role
NamTrack is seeking an experienced and skilled Vehicle Tracker Installer to join our technical team. You’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our tracking systems in Namibia. Your work ensures optimal system performance and directly contributes to vehicle safety and operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and decommission GPS trackers, antennas, and sensors in a wide range of vehicles
• Configure and program the trackers
• Follow electrical safety standards for 12V and 24V vehicle systems
• Participate in production, assembly, and testing of new devices

You Bring

• Proven experience in vehicle electronics (e.g. CAN bus, OBD-II, wiring)
• A strong personal interest in electronics and hands-on technical work
• Ability to work independently and self-organized with minimal supervision
• High level of reliability and personal responsibility (punctuality, clean workmanship, accurate reporting)
• Understanding of vehicle types common in Namibia: sedans, pickups, trucks, mining vehicles, earthmoving machines
• Strong problem-solving ability, especially in onsite, remote, or resource-limited environments
• Willingness to document installations and follow defined technical procedures
• Basic computer literacy (configuration tools, firmware updates, reporting)
• Valid driver’s license and valid Namibian ID
• Willingness to travel within Namibia
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients in English and Afrikaans
